Parents Promoting Dance (PPD) was founded to inspire positive self-esteem, intellectual curisity, physical development, accomplishment, artisitc development, accomplishment through the study of dance and the patronage of the visual and performing arts.
PPD seeks to provide performance opportunities, as well as, opportunities to attend multi-art events to our students, especially students from disadvantaged backgrounds. PPD secures scholarship support for dancers interested in studying in our programs and in intensive programs across the country. PPD also works to prepare students for college admission and believes strongly in the power of dance to promote life skills such as, a sense of community, belonging, discipline, self esteem, focus, balance and fitness. |
